Product photographer in Geneva

Fine grocery, craft, textile, cosmetics. A good product image shows the material before it shows the object. Neutral grounds, macro and styled sets.

Show the material before the object

On a product page, the buyer is looking for one thing: knowing what will arrive. The grain of the leather, the thickness of the glass, the finish of a lid. An image that answers that question lowers returns and raises basket size.

I work in the Cointrin studio on neutral grounds, with lighting kept constant from one series to the next, and on location when the product needs context. Marketplace templates are respected at capture, not rescued in the crop.

What you get

01

White background

Centred framing, soft drop shadow or no shadow depending on your templates, clipping path included.

02

Styled sets

The product held, placed, used. That is what gives scale and what makes the difference on a sales page.

03

Material macro

Textiles, leathers, woods, metals, papers. The frame that replaces a paragraph of description.

04

Crops

1:1 for marketplaces, 4:5 and 9:16 for social, 16:9 for the site and banners.

FAQ

What people ask most.

How many products per day?

Between twenty and forty references in simple packshot. Fewer if each product needs several angles, a styled set or props.

Should the products be sent in advance?

Yes, two or three days before if possible. It lets me prepare the grounds, test the light and move much faster on the day.

Do you deliver files ready for Shopify?

Yes. Formats, weights and naming are set for Shopify, WooCommerce or a marketplace, with compressed files that will not slow your site down.

Do you shoot product video as well?

Yes, in 9:16 and 1:1 for social and paid media. Filming happens straight after the stills, with the same set and the same light.

Do the images meet Amazon, Galaxus and Digitec requirements?

Yes. Pure white background, product filling roughly 85 per cent of the frame, square format, minimum resolution respected. Tell us which platforms you sell on and we deliver one set per platform.

How many references can be shot in a day?

Thirty to fifty as a simple packshot on white, ten to fifteen if each product needs a styled scene. Products from the same family move faster because the lighting does not change.

How do we get the products to you?

By post, by courier or by hand at the Cointrin studio. We confirm receipt, shoot, then return the products or hold them for collection. Original packaging is kept.

Do you shoot lifestyle images as well as packshots?

Yes, and it is often the better investment: the packshot serves the product page, the lifestyle image serves advertising, newsletters and social. Both are shot in the same day.

Do you produce product video and GIFs?

Yes. Rotation, opening, in hand, pouring: a few seconds is enough to lift the conversion rate of a product page. Files are delivered as MP4 and, if needed, as a light GIF for email.

What formats and file sizes do you deliver?

High resolution JPEG for print, optimised JPEG and WebP for web, transparent PNG on request. Files are named after your own product references so the import into your shop is direct.

Do you shoot at the studio or at our premises?

The Cointrin studio is faster and more consistent for packshots. For bulky, fragile or already installed products we come to you with the background and the lighting.
