Hotel and hospitality photographer

Resorts, riads, lodges, chalets, boats and holiday rentals. The images that win a booking do not show a room, they show what it feels like to arrive.

The images that win a booking

A traveller does not book a bed, they book the feeling of arriving. The lobby backlit, the terrace as the light drops, the pool before anyone is up. Listings that convert tell a day, not a furniture inventory.

I cover a property in full reportage, from first light to dusk, with the drone when the site earns it. Images are delivered in the formats Booking, Airbnb and your own booking engine expect, which avoids the automatic crops that cut heads and horizons.

What you get

01

The property

Facade, arrival, lobby, common areas, pool, garden, views. Drone to place the property in its landscape.

02

The rooms

Every category shot on the same logic, so the guest understands the difference between two tiers.

03

Table and spa

Breakfast, restaurant, bar, treatments. The side services often tip the booking.

04

The platform kit

Formats and weights matching Booking, Airbnb, Expedia and Google, plus verticals for social.

FAQ

What people ask most.

Do you travel abroad?

Yes. Part of the hospitality archive was shot outside Switzerland. Travel and accommodation costs are itemised in the quote, with no hidden margin.

How long does covering a hotel take?

One to two days for a mid-sized property, working early morning and late afternoon. A single day is enough for a chalet or a rental villa.

Are models needed?

Not always, but human presence clearly raises the click rate. Two people are enough, often team members, and it is arranged in advance.

Do you deliver video too?

Yes, a short 60 to 90 second film for the homepage and verticals for social, shot during the same assignment.

Do you work with groups and hotel chains?

Yes, and we are used to working to an imposed standard: framing, lens height, colour temperature and file naming. Send us the brand book and we deliver to it.

Do rooms have to be taken out of service during the shoot?

One room at a time is enough, which means the hotel keeps trading. We work in rotation with the housekeeper: one room being prepared while the previous one is photographed.

Do you use models?

Often, yes. An empty space is unconvincing: a silhouette at the bar, a couple on the terrace or a child at the pool give scale and feeling. Two models are usually enough for a whole day.

Are the images suitable for Booking and other platforms?

Yes. Booking, Expedia and booking engines expect specific formats and a very readable lead image. We deliver a platform ready set alongside the website and brochure images.

Do you travel abroad?

Yes, and it is common for hospitality work. Travel and accommodation are added to the quote, the rest of the service is unchanged.

Do you also produce the property film?

Yes, stills and film are shot in the same session, which costs considerably less than two suppliers one after the other. A two minute film and vertical social formats are delivered with the photographs.

How long does a full hotel take?

Two to three days for a mid sized property: sample rooms, suites, restaurant, spa, public areas, exteriors and twilight views. The recce is done the day before.
