At an event, a photographer who gets noticed damages the thing he came to document. I work on silent shutter, in available light, with no flash aimed at guests, and I stand where the action is about to happen rather than where it just happened.
You get what is actually used: speakers on stage, conversations in the corridors, the full room seen from behind, partner logos sharp and legible, and portraits that can go to the press the same evening.

FAQ
What people ask most.
Do you deliver images the same day?
Yes. An express selection of 15 to 30 edited images is delivered during the event or within hours, for a press release or a live post. More if needed, to be discussed when quoting.
Do you use flash?
As little as possible. During speeches, concerts and ceremonies I work without flash, with cameras that handle high ISO. In dark venues, bounced flash, never aimed at faces, only for group shots and posed portraits.
Is accreditation needed?
Plan for it if the venue requires one, particularly inside international organisations. A thirty minute technical visit the day before improves the result a great deal.
Do you film the event as well?
Yes, with an extra operator so the photography doesn't suffer: a one to two minute aftermovie, interviews and vertical formats for social media. Photo and video on the same booking cost less than two separate teams.
How far in advance should we book?
Two to four weeks for a weekday event, more during trade fair season and the December period, when dates go quickly in Geneva. Urgent requests are considered, availability decides.
Do you cover congresses and trade fairs at Palexpo?
Yes: congresses, trade fairs, award ceremonies and international conferences. Accreditation and restricted areas are settled in advance with the organiser, which avoids surprises at the door.
How do you handle guests' image rights?
A notice at the entrance informs attendees and the organiser remains responsible for consent. Anyone who asks is removed from the delivered selection. For sensitive events we work from a named list.
Do you work evenings and weekends?
Yes, with no hidden surcharge: the schedule is part of the quote from the start. Galas, company evenings, openings and Sunday events are covered like anything else.
