Portrait photographer in Geneva
Corporate portraits, executive portraits, kitchen brigades and teams at work. The aim is not to make you pose, it is to make you forget there is a camera.
A good portrait is not noticed, it reassures
A professional portrait has a job to do: make someone want to pick up the phone. Neither an ID photo nor a magazine pose. The eyes have to be available and the frame has to look like your trade.
The aim is not to make you pose, it is to make you forget there is a camera. I guide, I talk, I let the tension drop, and I shoot between the instructions rather than during. The best frames almost always arrive after the words “that's a wrap”.

FAQ
What people ask most.
How many people in half a day?
Five to ten people, individual portraits and a few atmosphere frames included. Above fifteen, plan for a full day.
Where does the session happen?
In the Cointrin studio, five minutes from the airport, or at your offices with a backdrop set up on site. Both give the same result, the studio is simply faster.
How many retouched images per person?
One final image per person is the standard for a team page, two or three for a leader. The whole selection stays visible in the private gallery and you can add to it.
What should we wear?
What you wear on a client meeting day. I send a short preparation note before the session, with what works and what causes trouble on camera.
How long does a whole team take?
Allow ten minutes per person. Twenty people fit into half a day, forty into a full day. A slot based schedule avoids queues and endless coffee breaks.
Can the session take place at our offices?
Yes. We bring the background and the lighting and need a room of roughly three by four metres. Otherwise the Cointrin studio is five minutes from the airport and requires no setup at your end.
Are the portraits consistent across the team?
Yes, that is the point of a grouped session: same background, same light, same framing, same treatment. Lined up on a team page the portraits match without looking repetitive.
What about people who join after the session?
We keep the settings from your session for two years. A new joiner is photographed in fifteen minutes at the studio and their portrait slots into the existing series with no visible break.
Is make up included?
Light anti shine make up is available on request, charged by the day. For a leadership session or a campaign it is worth it. For a staff series a matting powder is usually enough.
Which formats do we get for LinkedIn, the website and the press?
Every portrait is delivered square for LinkedIn, vertical for the website and at full resolution for press and print. Files are named after each person.
Do you shoot portraits for CVs and applications?
Yes, as an individual session at the studio. Allow half an hour, two outfits and three to five retouched images. It is the most requested format among candidates and freelancers in Geneva.
