Vertical formats
Shot for portrait, not cropped afterwards.
A dish framed in 16:9 then cut to 9:16 loses its plate. I shoot natively vertical when the destination is Reels, TikTok or a story, with the subject placed for the interface safe zones.
Delivered in 9:16 and 4:5, with the same images in 1:1 and 16:9 for the site and the newsletter. One shoot, every format.

A photograph of a dish does not fill a dining room on its own. It needs a page that loads fast, a title that says what you do, a Google listing kept current.
Chinou Eye produces the images and the films. KSA Digital takes over for strategy, website build and search. Same office, same phone number.

Cointrin, five minutes from the airport.
Chinou Eye is the photo and video studio of KSA Digital. A shooting space in Cointrin, a team that handles a packshot board as well as a brand film, and a web practice behind it so the images actually get used.
In practice that means one contact for photography, video, drone and publishing. Images are delivered in the right formats, named properly and compressed so they do not slow your site down.
The photographer
The first camera came from my grandmother.
Then came the music videos, Bruce Lee's films, Spike Lee's, and Denzel Washington in Philadelphia. I was not really watching the story. I was watching how it had been made, and it changed the way I see things. What happened behind the camera interested me more than what happened in front of it.
I ended up on that side. Today I produce my own photos and films, from a studio in Cointrin. Still, the only story that matters on this site is not mine. It is yours, and that is the one we are going to tell.

What people ask most.
Where is the Chinou Eye studio?
The studio is in Cointrin, Ch. de Joinville 26, five minutes from Geneva airport and fifteen minutes from the city centre. It hosts portrait, corporate and packshot sessions. For food, architecture and events I come to you.
What are the delivery times?
The retouched selection is delivered in 3 to 5 working days, in a private online gallery, in web and print formats. Express delivery in 24 to 48 hours is available for press and editorial deadlines.
How long does a corporate shoot take?
For 5 to 10 people, allow half a day, so 3 to 4 hours, including individual portraits and a few atmosphere shots. Above 15 people, plan for a full day.
Do you shoot video as well?
Yes. Chinou Eye is the photo and video studio of KSA Digital, so photography, video, drone and the website are handled under one roof. No need to coordinate three suppliers who never speak to each other.
Is the clipping path included for packshots?
Yes. Clipping on white is included in product and e-commerce assignments, with multi-format delivery ready for Shopify, WooCommerce or a marketplace.
Do you work outside Geneva?
Yes, across the canton of Geneva, the Lake Geneva region and neighbouring France. Beyond that, travel costs are stated in the quote.
How much does a photo session cost?
Portraits start at CHF 300, food at CHF 400, packshot and real estate at CHF 500, events at CHF 800 and video at CHF 1'200. The exact quote depends on the number of images and the usage rights.
Do you photograph pregnancies?
Yes, from week 30, in the Cointrin studio or outdoors by the lake. 15 to 20 retouched images, from CHF 450. The newborn session happens between day 5 and day 15, and the two can be booked together.
Are your personal images for sale?
Yes. The Marseille and Seoul series, and everything that did not come from a client assignment, form an image library. Web licence or print, the price depends on the use. Write to me describing the image you want, or send a screenshot.
Where is the studio and how do we get there?
The studio is at chemin de Joinville 26 in Cointrin, in the commune of Meyrin, five minutes from Geneva airport and a quarter of an hour from the city centre. It is served by public transport and there is parking outside.
How does booking and payment work?
Every job starts with a written quote, free and without obligation. A deposit confirms the date, the balance is settled on delivery of the files. Usage and rights are written into the quote in plain terms.
Do you shoot with a drone?
Yes, stills and video, with the permits required in Switzerland. Being close to the airport means part of the canton requires prior clearance, so allow a few days.
Which languages do you work in?
French and English, on set and in correspondence, which covers almost every request in Geneva, between international organisations, brands and private clients.
Can you handle editing only?
Yes, quoted according to the volume of rushes and the intended format. You send your footage, we take care of logging, editing, grading, sound and subtitles. It is a frequent request from teams who film for themselves.
What happens if the weather turns or a shoot is cancelled?
For an outdoor shoot the date is moved at no cost if the weather makes it impossible. For a cancellation the terms are set out in the quote and discussed before signature, never after.
How far in advance should we book?
One to two weeks for a studio session, two to four for a reportage or an event, several months for a wedding in high season. A last minute request is always worth asking.
